NYAITC's Kids Growing Food
  Kids Growing Food prides itself on connecting kids to agriculture through growing food at school. This mini-grant program provides New York educators with financial start-up funds and educational tools that help integrate knowledge of the food and fiber system into the classroom.

NYAITC Bluebird Project
  NY Ag in the Classroom (NYAITC) Bluebird Project mini grants are given to provide an educational program with a hands-on experience in which students will learn about New York's state bird, develop a relationship with a local farmer to learn about how farms preserve open space for wildlife, visit the farm to install the bluebird boxes, and maintain communication throughout the year to learn about local agriculture.

NYAITC's Teacher of the Year
  Each year, New York Agriculture in the Classroom (NYAITC) recognizes an outstanding teacher who has woven agricultural lessons into his/her curriculum during the previous year. We now invite applicants for Teacher of the Year 2008. The award is given to a teacher who best demonstrates how NYAITC -including Kids Growing Food gardens, the Bluebird Project, and other programs - has positively impacted his/her students.
